HACCP & Food Safety e-learning Certificate Program

In 2017, CIFST formed a strategic partnership with the Saskatchewan Food Industry Development Centre Inc. (Saskatoon, SK, Canada, www.foodcentre.sk.ca) to deliver e-learning curriculum for our members at a discounted rate as a means of enhancing their knowledge and practical skills set for work in the Food and Beverage sector across Canada.

In 2018 CIFST will be offering a HACCP & Food Safety e-Learning Certificate Program to our members at reduced rates.

This online training course focuses on the process of implementing an FSEP-based HACCP system in a food plant, including how to set up a solid foundation for HACCP (the prerequisites) and how to complete the 7 principles of HACCP that identify, monitor and validate that hazards are being controlled. The HACCP & Food Safety Certificate Program is International HACCP Alliance accredited.

Certified Food Science Certification Program

The Certified Food Scientist (CFS) certification acknowledges the applied skills of food scientists, provides differentiation in the marketplace, and ultimately, helps demonstrate the professions’ commitment to safe and nutritious food for consumers.
