Barry Callebaut, one of the largest manufacturers of quality chocolate and cocoa in the world, has signed on as a Title Sponsor of the 2019 Canadian Food Summit. The two day National conference of CIFST takes place May 22 to 24 in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

“We are pleased to have Barry Callebaut supporting the conference once again this year,” said CIFST president Mike Nickerson. “We knew it would take a few years to grow this event after making the decision to run it annually beginning in 2018. CIFST’s 2019 Canadian Food Summit is being presented with the theme of Sustainable Innovation and programming sessions will include presentations on a variety of topics including emerging ingredients, nutrition and health, food processing, consumer attitudes, global food security, food safety, sustainable food systems and food policy. More detailed information on Summit programming will be posted to the CIFST website later this month.
