The Canadian Institute of Food Science and Technology (CIFST) is excited to be launching a National Mentorship Program for 2019. This innovative, cloud-based pilot program will offer a rare opportunity for young CIFST members to meet and engage one-on-one with the leaders of the country’s food and beverage sector.
We are now seeking candidates with a minimum of ten (10) years professional industry experience to act as our Mentors for this inaugural program. Participation is encouraged from coast to coast and from each of CIFST’s seven Sections across the country. Access to mentors will not be limited by geography as a unique web portal will be made available giving mentees a chance to meet and liaise with the mentors of their choice, communicating/meeting using whatever method they wish.
If you are interested in becoming a Mentor, please take a moment and complete a brief survey. After a review of all interested applicants, those chosen to take part in the 2019 Mentorship Program will be contacted with next steps.
Please note that completing the survey is not a guarantee you will be chosen to take part in the 2019 Mentorship Program.
